Money well-spent here. Huge library out in the South Hillsborough County countryside. Cows still line the road coming in from US 301, and the building is entirely surrounded by greenery.
Art lovers welcome here as there are many paintings by local artists on display. Twice had to ask for guest pass, and the two young ladies were pleasant and friendly. Separate snack room with tables and chairs surrounded by vending machines.
First time in Downtown Lakeland this morning. While walking around watching the Saturday Morning Market vendors get set up I stumbled upon this gem. Mitchells is a welcome contrast to the Starbucks routine, a quiet easy-going home-town place with wooden tables and chairs.
Several artistic creations for sale on the walls, flanking a tall bookcase with reading materials. Large dining floor with several tables. Order and pay at the counter, take a number to your table and they will bring your order to you.
Although at over eight bucks for a huge lemonade glass and a bare ham omelet with no toast or potatoes on the side is a bit high, the experience was worth it. The tasty omelet arrived quickly. Will try something else next time.
First time here last Sunday around 2. Few people were there, may be different on weekdays. They checked out my number, then made me sign a roster since my home gym is the St Pete location. Never had to sign when visiting other locations across Florida.
Huge parking lot on north side of quiet strip mall, on a side street that’s a delight to get in and out of. US 19 overpass across the street so hop on the highway immediately.
This gym is just as big as the main one in St Pete, long rows of treadmills and stationary bicycles flanked by other equipment. Large weightlifting area. Bathroom was spotless. What, no soap? I can live with that.
