Gassed up here this morning for the first time. New offering along the 34th Street corridor in what was the Tampa Bay Times parking lot.
Lowest gas price in town. Simple yet elegant storefront, and plenty of food options inside. Cleanest rest room in town probably. Had never seen this oil company before, but it all looks A-OK. The St Petersburg construction boom continues
First time here on this cold morning. Drive-through was packed, with a staffer taking orders outside. Ordered their Chicken Egg-McMuffin combo at $5.89, over six bucks including tax.
Bigger than the Mickie D Egg McMuffin, plus hash browns and small decaf. The burrito and chicken biscuit combos cost less. Their round hash browns are identical to Burger King’s, but they are delivered in a decorated cardboard box, unique. You are given a table marker and food is brought to your table, like Mickie D is now doing.
The dining room and rest room interior is stylish, definitely a step up from the burger wars.
In front of both Home Depot and Walmart, prime real estate on busy Brandon Boulevard.
Directly across from the Riverwalk and on Old Main Street, this library is a delight. Manatee County allows anyone to sign up to use a computer, no need for a library card. Stacks of free information publications published in Manatee County.
There are separate conference rooms for individuals or groups, although you can hear their chatter. Apparently the library is built on a bluff, as you have to climb several steps at the front entrance and none at the rear entrance. Security guard always on duty.
Good place to relax after taking a long stroll along the Riverwalk or stopping at nearby Main Street shops and restaurants.
