Ellenton Cafe US301 by I-75 at Ellenton Fl

First time here for lunch a few days ago. Welcoming family restaurant with high-density seating in this small space, tables quite close together.

After being told to sit anywhere I found one empty table in the middle. Ordered a tuna sandwich with cole slaw, which arrived in a few minutes. Quite tasty and loaded with lettuce and tomato for $ 5.99.

Popular place with the locals at the corner of a strip mall with several other tenants.  Clientele overflowed to the three outdoor tables.

Everyone seemed happy and smiling here, both staff and customers. Several folksy works of art adorn walls. Will drop in for breakfast another time.

Parkway Inn 777 Curtiss Pkwy Miami Springs, FL 33166

An oldie but goodie along the NW 36 St hotel row on Miami International Airport’s north side. Spent Christmas weekend here, uneventful and quiet. No problems from pleasant staff during check-in and check-out.

Was in room 201 facing sidewalk and under staircase, even there noise was minimal. Microwave and mini-fridge included in large clean room. A delight parking behind hotel. Daily maid service even on Christmas day, that was unexpected.

Walkable Miami Springs neighborhood behind hotel is nice and quiet older area, golf course about two blocks from hotel. One bus line and several eateries along NW 36th Street. Burger King, a lounge, gas station and a laundromat directly across from Parkway Inn. WiFi worked fine.

Denny’s 3747 Sun City Center Blvd Sun City, FL 33573

Came in for a late breakfast yesterday, parking lot packed so expected a long wait. To my surprise, the kind greeter had a booth available in front of TV. Gracious pleasant Hispanic waitress took my order, the four-buck slam.

Two reasonable pancakes, two scrambled eggs and two sausage links was done right. Do you want more lemonade? No thanks, one big glass was enough. Above and beyond service on a busy morning, they get a medal.

Just east of I-75 at the County Road 674 Sun City Center Boulevard exit in a restaurant compound shared with Bob Evans, Wendy’s and Popeye’s Chicken.
