First time here recently, it’s in a strip mall right off US 1 so easy to find. Plenty of parking even if shared by several businesses.
Greeted by friendly staff in this clean facility. Overhead TV screens set far back from treadmills, otherwise fine with bright glass view. Plenty of workout equipment and weights. Not many people on a weekday afternoon, maybe weekends are different.
Only three showers in men’s locker room, but they are spacious. All lockers are the small one-over-another type, also have small holes so you can see clothing in them.
This Planet Fitness is near the waterfront beach and hotels, so convenient for travelers
First time here last Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff, mostly middle-aged patrons so felt at home.
Like their layout that has the locker rooms just beyond the welcome desk and before the workout area. At others you have to walk all through the workout floor to the rear locker rooms. Plenty of overhead TV screens. Vending machines.
An excellent amenity not seen before was a weight scale inside the men’s locker room, should be standard in all.
Located in an older strip mall that badly needs repaving, but right off State Road 64 about four miles west of US 41.
First time here last Sunday around 2. Few people were there, may be different on weekdays. They checked out my number, then made me sign a roster since my home gym is the St Pete location. Never had to sign when visiting other locations across Florida.
Huge parking lot on north side of quiet strip mall, on a side street that’s a delight to get in and out of. US 19 overpass across the street so hop on the highway immediately.
This gym is just as big as the main one in St Pete, long rows of treadmills and stationary bicycles flanked by other equipment. Large weightlifting area. Bathroom was spotless. What, no soap? I can live with that.
