An oldie but goodie along the NW 36 St hotel row on Miami International Airport’s north side. Spent Christmas weekend here, uneventful and quiet. No problems from pleasant staff during check-in and check-out.
Was in room 201 facing sidewalk and under staircase, even there noise was minimal. Microwave and mini-fridge included in large clean room. A delight parking behind hotel. Daily maid service even on Christmas day, that was unexpected.
Walkable Miami Springs neighborhood behind hotel is nice and quiet older area, golf course about two blocks from hotel. One bus line and several eateries along NW 36th Street. Burger King, a lounge, gas station and a laundromat directly across from Parkway Inn. WiFi worked fine.
Stepped in last week for lunch, decided on the Sub of The Day $5 special. This is a great deal no matter what sub they feature any day. That black forest ham on oatmeal bread with lettuce tomato pickles mayo and olives topped with vinegar is heaven.
Having a TV to watch during your meal a big plus. Two pleasant friendly ladies out front put it all together fast. Airport workers are lucky to have this place right across the street. It’s right on the corner on hyper-busy NW 36 St. No curb parking, not sure if parking in rear.
Was here recently for lunch. Gracious friendly Hispanic lady took my order, did not have to wait long. A bit of a sketchy area, homeless guy enters and slow to leave even as employees yell at him ” you gotta go now” Lucky to find a place to sit.
It’s a bit small but right in the heart of Little Havana with no other fast-food place around, so usually busy. On corner of 10th Avenue and Flagler Street by bus stop, just a few blocks from Downtown Miami
