Lakeland Public Library FL

First time here last Saturday, it’s across the parking lot from the Polk Museum of Art. Huge place with pop machine at entrance. Several desks with outlets for laptops and whatever.

Well laid out open feeling to this library. Impressive reading area with glass window facing Lake Morton across the street. A pleasant place tor work or pleasure.

Lake Morton in Lakeland FL

A quiet nature spot a few blocks from Downtown Lakeland, this round lake in the Historic District is ruled by giant swans and assorted other birds. Several benches along the shore let you sit and relax.

Large parking lot at Public Library and Polk Museum of Art across the street. No walkway along the shore, only sidewalk across the street. Thank god this was all preserved.
