Captain’s Galley in Downtown Fort Pierce

Came in just before 10 yesterday morning, just in time for their $5.95 breakfast special. Was instantly guided to a table when walking in, the morning rush was apparently over.

All wood interior with Florida-themed artwork adds to the Old Florida fishing village atmosphere, quite nice

Got two scrambled eggs and two sausage patties plus home fries in about five minutes. Along with that you get two decent size pancakes. Coffee cup reloaded three times by gracious friendly staff.

This was the only restaurant along the downtown waterfront, at the corner of Indian River Drive and Seaway Drive.

Walmart Supercenter at 5100 Okeechobee Road Fort Pierce FL

This convenient store is just east of I-95 exit 129 on State Road 70. There is an Applebee’s next door that stays open late. RV’s are quite welcome here, there were at least a dozen when I stopped here recently.

It was quite busy the evening I showed up so the lines were a bit long, but moved along steadily. Good experience here.
