Stopped for lunch recently, a pleasant friendly place where they tell you to sit anywhere. Ordered a tuna sandwich with french fries, and got so many fries I could not eat them all.
Tasty dish appeared in less than five minutes.
Only two people there when I arrived, then a few more came in. The lunch rush was over by then. Next door to the Fort Myers Public Library courtyard, right downtown so really convenient. On the ground floor of an office building with only street parking.
Will probably be back
Excellent service here as I enjoyed breakfast this morning. Was welcomed as I walked in and told to sit anywhere, She follows me to my table with menu and asks what to drink. Just water, thank you. Another gracious lady asks if I needed a minute? I’ll have a ham omelet – home fries or grits?, wheat, white or rye?. Home fries and rye toast is my usual.
My order appeared in less than five minutes, can’t beat that. Large interior in what seems to be a former Denny’s or another chain. Hanging flower baskets a neat touch. Few diners on this mid-week morning as I quietly enjoyed my breakfast.
Glad I finally stopped here after passing by many times, will be back.
Hiding in plain sight, a diamond in the rough. First time here last Friday morning, a small quiet place full of Southern hospitality. Had an omelet with ham and onions plus rye toast, which appeared in five minutes or so. Delicious and only five and a half.
Large TV over the small dining floor, which has three tables in center and more along the walls plus a few seats in front of small counter. Only one client when I arrived, then more came in as the morning passed.
Parking lot shrouded by bushes, sign at 37th facing south. Entrance on 37th so quite easy to miss. Half-hour parking limit so don’t even think of leaving it there. Just a block down from the ever-popular Undertow Beach Bar.
