Dropped in for breakfast just before Christmas, it was early morning so few people there. I was immediately greeted and seated, then ordered their silver dollar pancakes and hash browns.
In a few minutes get three pancakes much larger than silver dollars, plus a few round hash browns. Opted for lemonade this time.
So glad this chain is around, enjoy their retro-diner decor and ambiance.
Had a pleasant breakfast here a few days ago. On Old Main street Bradenton just a few blocks from the Riverwalk is this nice cafe where I was greeted by a gracious lady with a British accent.
Ordered a ham omelet with home fries, got a generous dish in a few minutes. Coffee cup reloaded once, then cashier asks if I wanted a cup to go. Came to about $10 including tip.
Walls adorned with landscape paintings for sale by a local artist. Sit outside in the cool morning if you wish, either way a good choice.
Came in before six a few mornings ago after a long absence. Two friendly pleasant hostesses serving a busy place, one of them says sit anywhere you want. Another shows up immediately with a menu and asks what to drink, coffee please.
She mentions that they are getting up in the world with their ordering tablets, they definitely are. Ordered my usual ham omelet and home fries, which appeared in less than five minutes with a huge helping of potatoes. Coffee cup reloaded at least twice.
This staple of South St Pete has been packing them in for decades, and I’m not surprised why. Opens at 5 AM.
